Ferndale water customers who received bills in early September may have noticed an error in the listed billing cycle. The actual billing period covered was May 1-Aug. 1, 2024. However, the billing period is listed as May 1-Sept. 1, 2024. 

The Finance Department has investigated and found the issue to be simply a clerical typo by the invoicing/printing company. Customers were billed for the correct number of days. You can examine your water usage and billing details on the City's Water Utilities Portal. 

This error only affects one segment of customers, those whose bills were mailed on Aug. 26, 2024, for the May 1-Aug. 1 period.
