Yard waste season runs from the week of Monday, April 7, 2025, to the week of December 15, 2025. Yard waste is collected weekly on your regular trash day annually from April to December. Please place your yard waste out at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the morning of your scheduled pickup date.

The December Board of Review Meeting is on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Downstairs Conference Room at Ferndale City Hall, located at 300. E Nine Mile Road.

Based on community interest, we are holding one more Community Conversation about Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) Technology. The meeting is scheduled for Friday, December 12, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 300 E. Nine Mile Road.
