Yard waste season runs from the week of Monday, April 7, 2025, to the week of December 15, 2025. Yard waste is collected weekly on your regular trash day annually from April to December. Please place your yard waste out at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the morning of your scheduled pickup date.

Ferndale City Hall is closed on Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2025. Garbage and recycling collection will be affected, so please place your containers out one day late for the remainder of the week. Parking is free in Downtown Ferndale.
