Yard waste season is here! Yard waste season begins on Monday, April 7, 2025, and runs until December (date to be determined). Yard waste is collected weekly on your regular trash day annually from April to December. Please place your yard waste out at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the morning of your scheduled pickup date.

Please join the City of Ferndale as we raise the Juneteenth Flag in honor of Juneteenth on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. Join Mayor Raylon Leaks-May, Ferndale Public School students, and Superintendent Camille Hibbler as they share what Juneteenth means to them.

Come find out all the buzz about pollinators, pollinator experts, crafts, giveaways, and more. Find out how to make a bee hotel or pollinator waterer, take photos, and more. And to top it all off, a pollinator parade! The event starts at 1:00 p.m. and the parade is at 2:30 p.m. Dress as or represent your favorite pollinator or flower to join the parade.

The 2025 Ferndale Market Days will be held on July 19 and 20, 2025, on Nine Mile Rd, east of Woodward, in Downtown Ferndale. Ferndale Market Days is a two-day small street festival featuring various merchant vendors selling clothes, food, jewelry, DJ sounds, a food court, a kids play area, sidewalk sales, and the PATIO Zone.
