Get those rakes out for the curbside leaf pickup service—your tax dollars in action. Leaf pickup runs from the week of Monday, October 21, 2024, through the week of Monday, December 2, 2024. Pickup alternates each week for the East side, West side, and entire City.

Before you plan your holiday shopping at the Jingle & Mingle Underground Holiday Market, on November 16 & 17, 2024, please bring canned and/or dried food items, or make a monetary donation, to support the Jingle & Mingle Food Drive Campaign. Donations can also be dropped-off at Les Stanford Buick-GMC, Vibe Credit Union, Ferndale City Hall, First Merchants Bank and Credit Union ONE from November 1, 2024, to November 22, 2024.

The Ferndale Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in City Council Chambers on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, to receive community feedback on the draft Zoning Ordinance as the first step of the approval process. The Planning Commission will also consider making a recommendation to City Council, who will then review and consider approving the new Zoning Ordinance at an upcoming meeting.
