The 2026 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 application is open! This is a fantastic small business grant program facilitated by the MEDC MiPlace and administered at the local level by the Ferndale Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and the City of Ferndale.

This competitive grant program, Match on Main, is a reimbursement-only program offering up to a $25k grant with only a 10% match. Grant funding supports defined, place-based projects that help activate commercial districts, encourage private investment, and strengthen local economies.

Small businesses do not apply directly to MEDC. This locally administered approach ensures funding decisions are community-driven and aligned with local priorities. Instead, eligible communities identify and support local businesses through a locally administered selection process. Let us know if you have a project by submitting the application by March 25, 2026.
