The City of Ferndale Welcomes New Councilmember Eddie Sabatini
The City of Ferndale is delighted to welcome our new City Councilmember, Eddie Sabatini. Eddie was sworn in last night, January 12, 2026, at the City Council Meeting as the newest member of Ferndale’s 50th City Council.
Eddie is a lifelong Michigander and has lived in Ferndale with his family for the past decade. “We chose Ferndale because it is authentically vibrant, creative, and welcoming, a place where people show up for one another while being themselves,” said Eddie.
With a background in teaching, creative writing, and business leadership, Eddie thrives on bringing people together. He is passionate about listening, collaborating, and inspiring unity around common goals, always championing open and meaningful conversations to tackle challenges.
Eddie’s enthusiasm for Ferndale shone throughout his City Council campaign. His genuine connection with residents has already made a mark on our community, and we can’t wait to see the legacy he will leave.
“I’m thankful for the chance to work alongside dedicated council members, City staff, local organizations, and community partners, and to keep learning from the people who call Ferndale home,” stated Eddie.
Be sure to reach out and say hello to Eddie at a City Council Meeting or contact him directly at esabatini@ferndalemi.gov.
