The City of Ferndale is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as a Inspector III - Building Inspector. You will be responsible for conducting inspections of residential and commercial structures to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. As a vital part of our team, you will collaborate with builders, contractors, and residents to promote construction safety and uphold quality standards.

The ideal candidate must possess an Act 407 certification, or the ability to obtain one.

A minimum of 2 years as a certified building inspector is preferred.

$28.34 - $31.28 an hour depending on qualifications.
