This MXD-2 Mixed Use district property currently has an existing multiple-family building and a medical office attached. The proposal is to demolish the existing structures and construct a four-story 56-unit multiple-family apartment building in its place. The applicant proposes a 45’ tall building that will be almost entirely residential; the first floor has a small “Live/Work” area, a dedicated bicycle storage room, and a covered parking area. The remainder of the site serves as additional parking with a percentage of the landscaping area designated as an amenity for future residents of the building.

 

This use is permitted by right in the MXD-2 zoning district and must receive Site Plan Approval from the Planning Commission.
